hi everyone,

I am a chinese girl and a new joiner to an American company in China. my job is training analyst in human resource management.

below is my client words and could you help me to understand it?

'You will have to cancel the sessions you entered in system and work thru me to correctly secure Centra space'.

centra space here means a sort of web tool for meeting.
work thru me here in my understanding is to cooperate with him, am I right or is there anything I missed?

thank you for your reading and explanation

"work through someone" means to contact that person and have him help you getting the job done. You are not to do it by yourself.

thank you Diverhank.

one of my coworker told me if I say could you please help to cancel the centra event, it means I am in loop to do it. While the truth is I just need others to finish this step excluding me so that my job can go ahead, thus I should directly say please do sth not help do sth. Is she right? And can I say could you cooperate to cancel the centra event avoding the misunderstanding I will work through him?

I'm not sure what you are asking me. Based on your first post, the client wants you to (1) cancel the sessions you created and (2) work with him to properly create new ones. You can ask him to help cancel the sessions (maybe you don't know how because you are new). Usually, only the person who creates a session can cancel it. In this case, he needs you to be there to log in. Similarly, the name of the person who creates a session will appear as the Creator or Reserver. In this case, you need to log in under your name so your name will appear there. This may be the reason he wants you to work through him and he can't do it on his own without you.
