hello everyone,

please look at the sentence: The next available dates would be the week of March 5, 2009.

can I say 'will be' instead of 'would be' here and why? or just say 'is' by using present tense.

besides, can I say 'the next abailable dates is on March 5,2009'? what is the different sense here? I never see the week of March 5 , 2009 such format before and always on March 5 , 2009.

thank you very much :D

.
You can say 'will'. 'Would' is a bit more polite and/or suggests that the dates may become unavailable. You can also use 'are' (not 'is').

Your next question is difficult to answer, since your sentence is carelessly written; please proofread it and re-submit that question.

Liqui, the week of March 5, 2009 means any week day that falls in that week -- it is a range of dates, not just March 5.
