It is not a new topic, I just try to get a good knowledge of how one tense agrees with another.
I have noticed your remark, I think this question is final in this thread.

Are the tenses used correct in this short dialog:

"- Let John do it.
- He has gone. Mary has told him that somebody has broken the windshield of his car and he went out."?

P.S. As for me, I like to read long threads, they allow to understand better the subject of a discussion.
