"pay with cash" vs "pay in cash" #1 (permalink) Wed Dec 10, 2008 8:03 am   "pay with cash" vs "pay in cash"

Hi there :D

When we pay for things we usually ask 'Can I pay by credit card ? but 'Can I pay with cash.'
Why is there a difference? And is the meaning of 'pay in cash' and 'pay with cash' all the same or is there a slight difference?

thanks a lot,
