please teacher,
i find great difficulty talking about actions in the past . should i use the past simple tense , the present perfect or the past perfect ? Or what ?
please reply.

Use simple past tense mostly. Sometimes you can use present perfect when the past action affects the present strongly. You almost never need to use past perfect.
