Hi Tom,
Thanks a lot for responding to Yassin's recording. I think your idea of re-recording Yassin's voice message is great because it helps him compare his own pronunciation to yours.
Maybe what we should also do is to correct Yassin's grammar mistakes. For example, a very common error made by ESL speakers is to say some advices instead of some advice. For some reason the noun advice is uncountable while the translation of the word advice is countable in many other languages.
So the solution to this problem is to create texts that our forum members can read out loud. I'll get to that later today.
Talk to you soon, Torsten

Hi Yassin,
Thank you very much for your encouraging words and also for making such an effort to improve your speaking skills.
I've noticed that your English quite fluent and your grammar is also pretty good. As for your pronunciation, you can improve it even further if you concentrate on stressing words properly. There are three words I'd like you to re-record. Please say the following words three times: response, evaluate, appreciate.
And finally, please repeat the word country three times too.
Regards, Torsten

Hi Yassin,
Thank you for your latest voice message. Your words sound pretty good now. There are two words I'd like you to repeat again. The first one is evaluate. Please note that the second syllable is stressed: Evaluate.
The second word I'd like you to record again is country. The vowel is a short 'ʌ' sound as in 'mother' or 'fun'. So please say these words: - fun - mother - country
My mother and I are having fun in the country.
Speak to you soon, Torsten
