My question is whether I should set the following quotation off with a pair of commas from the rest of the sentence. It is:

The famous quotation "Only those who will risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go" shows that ...

or

The famous quotation, "Only those who will risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go," shows that ...
