A big hello to everybody: I’m from Vietnam, a country of South-East Asia...

Good evening Teachers and fellow learners

I’m glad to introduce about myself and my country. I’m from Vietnam, a country of South-East Asia. Viet Nam is approximately 331,688 km2 in area, large than Italy and almost the size of Germany. Our neighbours are China, Lao and Cambodia. The population is about 80 millions. About the riligion, about 85% of Vietnamese identify Buddhism and 8% of population is Christians. If you come to Vietnam, you can see a lot of old pagodas that worship Buddhas. Vietnamese usually go to the pagodas on the first, 15th of Lunar months. That’s a cultural tradition of Vietnam.

Now I’ll tell you a little about myself. I live in Hanoi, the capital of Viet Nam. Do you know about Hanoi? I love Ha Noi very much. My job is rather busy. We have two days off at the weekend and 9 national holidays a year as almost people here.
In my a little fund of time, I always try to spend 1 or 2 hours a day for learning English. The reason is that I like English and I want to have much knowledge about the world. Moreover, I need it for my job. I have been learning English for one year but my English is not good. I’m trying to improve it. I knew this site about 2 months ago. I found it very helpful and interesting. However, I see the skill of listening is always very difficult for me. I don’t know how long it’ll take me to be good at English. It’s really a difficult question to me. So I hope I’ll be able to use English fluently with the help of teachers and fellow learners.

You can see Christmas Day and New Year is coming nearer and nearer. I wish all of you will have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
