What are some important qualities of a good supervisor (boss)? Use specific details and examples to explain why these qualities are important.

Most of the people said that having charisma is important to be a boss. How do we define a person possessing some special personalities in order to persuade his/her employee to implement assignments or introductions.

Being an open minded person is a very vital quality of a good boss. An open minded boss can easily deal with an employee. Employee does not fear of telling the real feeling. It is an important thing in good communication. It would build a bridge to achieve or adjust the bad circumstances or operation mode which could not work anymore. Sometimes, company culture needs a change for improving each other’s communication. Boss should create a kind of comfortable environment to reduce unnecessary scnario or situation. Open minded boss dare to accept criticism from subordinate or employee. Every one of us has a blind spot sometimes. Through other opinions or corrections, we could avoid or reduce the risk of making mistake.

I think people like to work in a transparent company system. Boss is willing to share the good and bad operation results about the company. No matter company in deficit or gain conditions, a good boss will share with the employees. In bad time, employee will think about how to tackle with the problems together. In good time, employee shares the profit by paying as an extra bonus. People work in a transparent system will feel more secure and they will become a part of the company.

The extroversion of personality is another good quality of a boss. Boss who is extroverted mean he/she is interested in other people and things rather than their own feelings. An outgoing boss enjoys, and needs the company of others. Each piece of work could not be completed by oneself. Work as a team needs others to involve in different positions. Boss needs to step out from his own room or always open the door in the office. This is a sign showing that employee could reach or talk to him anytime.
