hello alan,
That was so great i really like the essay, and I think am also green enough, I don't spend so much time on going out painting the town red with whole lot of noise and also hate people who trow rubbish anyhow on the street. all that i always do is to be at home or at work and study hard to become some one important to help the economy grow well.

If you plan to help the economy, you are not liable to be green ;)

I'm sure I like green. You know I am a teacher and I have to travel a long way to school. The road is very very bad in rainy season, it is slippy and flooded and in aother season, I cannot see the road clearly because of dust.I hate it. Every day, in my lessons, I try to add a mesage for my students that you should keep the green and wipe out all the dirt things I encourage them to pant more trees in the shoolgarden and never litter any where.
I hope that the earth will have a clean healthy environment

For those who live green, part of being green is : "if it is yellow, let it mellow. If it is brown, flush it down"
Do you believe in that?

Hi, everybody.I know for sure that I want my daughter to be greener than me.For Christmas we choose to buy a plastic Christmas tree so we can be part at the cutting down the trees. It takes a lot of time for these trees to grow and so little to cut them down. And for what? Just to have what to throw to our dustbin after the holidays end up.It is so sad that we seem not to understand their importance for our health, for our children's health and for our planet. We must no longer be surprised of climate's changes, why there are floods, fire, etc

Let's hope that the plastic trees will be recycled.

Congratulations to you Alan, you have made such an interesting essay. You see, I'm also green, 100% green. I think preserving the environment is everybody's stuff and got to make myself involved in this kind of business. We, human-being, are the first responsible of the destruction of the environment so why shouldn't we all try to find out solutions to offer our descendants a longlasting and green planet?

A green handshake with nature for a clean world As teacher of college students for a little more than two decades, I have been nudging my students to think green and act clean. A sapling planted, a few seeds tossed in the apartment pots by the students always are complimented in the class . More than that, I insist on my students being energy conscious . switch off the lights and fans in the college when not in use, use cell phones as minimally as possible and the like of it. I am sure my students will leave smaller carbon footprints when compared to their counterparts elsewhere. Your essays on varied subjects linked with the idiomatic expressions provide grist for my teaching mill. May you continue to inspire many people like me through your educative pieces.

Aruna.

Dear Alan,

The essay you wrote was very interesting. Indeed it really suits for my country which is very small and developing. My country philosophy is to keep the 60% coverage by the forest to achieved the GNH.

Thanks

Dear Alan,
