I always keep my small garden green by planting some kinds of tree or flowers, care of my lovely garden, encouraging my children to esteem what labors plant in parksand on sidewalk ,not to polute the air,or drop litter carelessly. By doing these, I think I myself take part in protecting environment.

I like to be a greener and make everywhere green.I think that we should keep our environment clean and healthy as much as we can.Unfortunately we have ruined our nature with our wrong deeds.I hope we would be able to change our manner toward nature.

Hello Alan

Thank you for your article. It provides many useful informations about protecting our environment.

This is one of the most interested environmental stories in 2008 that Times periodical made public: Polar bears were ranked the endangered group.

On the fourteenth of May, 2008, polar bears became the first animal ranked the list of the endangered animals because of global warming. This declaration was spoken by Mr Dirk Kempthorne, American Minister of interior, based on Endangered Species Act (ESA).

The Earth’s temperature is getting warmer and warmer that makes ice melt and as the result, their residence has been narrowed day by day.

Living green should become a habit for all of us.

Thank you again.

Have a nice day

The Happytofita's Quote above really shows how we can enjoy life while making the planet green. And we should always remember, that we do it for ourselves not for somebody else. Making our planet green means making our life green.

Hi Alan: Thanks a lot for your article, which at least will remind us to be more "green", more friendly to nature. I've been trying to do my best with that objective in mind. Still.... there are lots of things to be done.
Now I would like to thank you for your summary of Dedalus and Icarus story, which had been out of my mind for years.
Kind regards
Maria

Now I would like to thank you for your very good summary of Icarus

This was my first trial. But I pushed some button and it disappeared. So, forget it.

Well,

Am I green? I don't throw dirty bags or papers through my car window when I drive. I don't let my garbage when I picnic in the woods. I take care of the places I visit and let them clean for the others who will follow.

Hi Dear Alan,
I'm realy interested in your articles or essays, specially this one which gives the useful information on our planet, the Earth. As everyone knows it is unfortunately faced with the things that harm its environment, and we are already starting to see the signs of damage to the nature.
Since it was caused by the human activities, effective actions need to be taken on environmental issues.
Whereas The Greens aim to bring in some policies to protect the future of the planet,I think it's each one's duty to tighten their belts to rescue their green Home TODAY not tomorrow.
Best wishes,
Morteza
