Love is always worth fighting for. vs It's always worth fighting for love. #1 (permalink) Wed Dec 17, 2008 21:43 pm   Love is always worth fighting for. vs It's always worth fighting for love.

I was just wondering, which one would be correct (or maybe both can be).

Love is always worth fighting for.
(passive, but i'm not sure whether worth can be passivized)

or

It's always worth fighting for love.

Thanks in advance,
Mikel.

2 differen grammar sentences meaning the same. Which one is correct? #3 (permalink) Sat Dec 20, 2008 13:28 pm   2 differen grammar sentences meaning the same. Which one is correct?

hi .
1: Love is always worth fighting for.

it's sounds mystrical to put a preposition at the end of sentence.
For example: Where are you from? sounds right.
From where are you? sounds like the writer has a concussion,This isn’t to say prepositions should always go at the end. That would be an equally troublesome proposition. Many times a preposition doesn’t present the stress that is necessary at the end of a sentence and times when formality is the goal.

It's always worth fighting for love ..
this sentence is for better than one above it stresses the point ......................................

yes, both are ok, but passive is more used in inglish, so the first one sounds more natural....
