Hello,

What kind of problems do you have in listening? Maybe I can help you. I really need somebody correct my grammar. When I take a test, my score is very low, and I should know the answers by now. I'm a little frusteted.

Have a great day,
Elliott

Hi Elliott,

'Check into' means that you arrive at the hotel and give your personal details to the receptionist. ''Check on' suggests 'investigate' 'find out what it's like.'

We had already checked on the hotel last week to see what sort of reputation it had and when we discovered it was of a high standard, we decided to make a booking and we checked in at reception yesterday evening.

Hi! Mr. Torsten
First,I want to thank you for yours exceptionally job.It is very useful for me.
I like, specially, audio lesson because "the audio" is the big problem for me,but sometimes I fill that some(very few) choices are not the correct answer -in my opinion,of course. Could be that possible?
One more time:Thank you for everything what are you doing.

Dear Nelu Roman,

Many thanks for your feedback. All of the questions on our site have the correct answers marked as 'correct'. Is there any specific phrase or word you have difficulty with? You can see all the answers you have given so far here: http://www.english-test.net/progress_report/index.php?user=40187

Dear Mr.Torsten
Tanks for your feedback, thanks for all are you doing,it is very useful for me.Of course,is there many words or specific phrase, that I have difficulty with. But here in this exercise:"Advertising a detox program" my answer "He is a doctor" is more appropriate than "He is a celebrity"-the correct answer-because:Matt O'Shay say: "....visit us at slicksondel.com,and Slicksondel being a hospital I concluded he is a doctor.Maybe I am wrong-it is very possible-,but I need your opinion on that.It is that possible?
Many thanks,Nelu Roman

Hi Rose,

Please take a look at the question and the three answer options again:

1). What kind of music does Mrs. Simmons like?
(A) She loves the blues.
(B) He likes country best.
(C) I was sick, but now I'm better.

http://www.english-test.net/toeic/listening/what_kind_of_music_does_mrs_simmons_like.html

You can rephrase the question like this:
What is Mrs. Simmons' favorite music? The only logical answer to that question is 'She loves the blues' since 'blues' is a kind of music that originated in the USA. Have you ever heard of that term -- 'rhythm and blues' also known as 'R&B'?

Hello,

Well, I think the answer is "She loves the blues" because the question refers to woman
"she" too. Let me know if I'm wrong, please.

Thank you,
Elliott
