Independent speaking (questions 1 and 2): 80 TOEFL practice questions! #1 (permalink) Sat Dec 20, 2008 10:23 am   Independent speaking (questions 1 and 2): 80 TOEFL practice questions!

Here are lists of independent speaking questions I've made to help people practice for questions 1 and 2 on the test. They include links to Chinswing threads where you can practice recording your answers online and listen to (and learn from) the responses posted by other test takers.

Independent question 1 (40 questions):
http://global-english.lefora.com/2008/08/29/toefl-ibt-speaking-independent-topic-list-open-cho/page1/

(I've recorded answers to 12 of these questions myself - 8 of them include a complete transcript, while another 4 show my preparation notes)

Independent question 2 (40 questions):
http://global-english.lefora.com/2008/12/20/toefl-ibt-speaking-independent-topic-list-paired-c/page1/

Hope these help you out. Good luck with your prep and best of luck for your test day!

But unfortunately they are only available if the user pays $25 to join the Mentor program. Jason obviously put in a lot of effort to develop these helpful and very useful questions - too bad that this post is no longer true. I think this post should be removed...
