Hi, I don't know if we can say so but the sentence seems translated from an other language . and as a girl I find it trite(it's my opinion) try to be simple like : "I missed you so much" or " I didn't stop thinking about you" |

I think that that sentence is ok... like in that song, only the tense is different> with every breath I take I'll be missing you... |

I would use a simple past tense. "I missed you today with every breath I took ". By the time the feeling was expressed by the author of the sentence, he and his girlfriend were together which means that he was not missing her any longer and there is no clear statement as of any period of time being involved in it either.

You are right Volcano1985. But what I meant as "by the time" was the specific point of time when that expression (feeling) was expressed to the loved one and in that same specific moment the action of "missing her" was gone given that they were together at that "specific time". I hope this will help.
God bless you Volcano and merry Christmas. Cisco. _________________ Please, always correct me if I have made any kind of mistakes in my posts. |
