I know that -
As of November 29 = From November 29 onwards (points to the future/going forward).

But here, in a english newspaper:
"The banks, which as of Novermber 30 HAD an SME portfolio of 4,000 crore, is seeking leverage its expertise in project appraisals ....."

I understand here, as of Novermber= On November 30... (maybe from the past to until nov 30)

Am I right?

Thanks,
Suresh

Hi Suresh,

'As of today' or 'as of 'December 24' suggest - the way things are today - the way things are/were on December 24.
