Hi everyone,

I am quite confused about below words, in particular the words highlighted in red.

Most demographic information in company training home page is pulled from SAP with the exception of Operating Group and Industry Segment. Operating group and Industry Segment are manually maintained by the Learner within their profile in the company training home page. Updates to attributes pulled from SAP need to be updated in SAP (by contacting your HR Rep) in order to get reflected in your training homepage. Please contact XXX with any additional questions you may have regarding your curriculum.

'maintained by the Learner within their profile' = kept by the learner in their Profile (a section of a website containing personal information on members).

Could you please explain the 'learner' here? does it refer somebody? or beginner?
