He he. You won't make a good HR, MM. :D You need to be pretty longwinded and should sound like you are doing employees a big favour when you are making a policy. _________________ Non-native speaker of English

. What is your point and how does it apply to Liqichao's question, Daemon? . _________________ Native English teacher at Mister Micawber's |

Sorry MM. I should have explained what I meant.
When I saw Liqichao's question I understood it was about an HR policy and the way I looked at it I felt it was an employee-friendly policy.
But when you interpreted it saying that there would be insurance only when they travel for company's benefit, it didn't sound employee-friendly. That's why I made those comments.
Sorry if I still don't make sense. _________________ Non-native speaker of English

. Do you see any difference in meaning between Liqichao's sentence and my paraphrase? . _________________ Native English teacher at Mister Micawber's |

I don't see any difference as such. It's just that you didn't mention personal travel in your paraphrase. That's what I wanted to point out. _________________ Non-native speaker of English

. It is subsumed within 'travelling for the company's benefit'. The original states 'personal travel when it is taken in conjunction with business travel'. . _________________ Native English teacher at Mister Micawber's |
