Hi everybody!!!!
I also think that English is a very important language to learn.
I am happy to know more about you.
I will write a little bit about my country, please do the same.
I am interested in know more about countries, for example: location, limits, language, traditions, et cetera.

***MEXICO***
My country is Mexico, and I love all my people and my nation.
My country as everybody knows is in the continent of America.
It has as limit in the north United States of America, and in the south Belice and Guatemala.
The main language is Spanish, but it is also spoken aproximately 62 indigenous languages.
The principal festivity of our country is September 16th because we remember our independence in the year of 1810.
Our flag is composed by three colors (green, white and red) and a seal in the middle.
The seal represents how the Aztecs founded their state in the center of Mexico. Aztecs were the people that dominated the center of the country before the Spaniards arrived to Mexico. The legend says that Aztecs were searching for a signal where to fund their state, and they found an eagle devouring a snake in a "nopal" (a cacti from Mexico), and the "nopal" was in the middle of a islet. They took this as a signal where to fund their state because many of the symbols found were important in their vision of the world. For example, an eagle devouring a snake represented the thriumph of the sun over the earth. This means the born again of the sun each morning. All in all, the seal is rich in beautiful meanings, but I will stop here.

I have much more to share with you, but I prefer to read something about your country.
See you soon!

:D hi dear new user, this is Joao Fonseca from Brazil, I live in the capital of the country named Brasilia, DF. here we speak Portuguese, it came from latin language, from old Roman empire. here people are free, we do all we want but with responsability, at least is what is suppose to be , if you do wrong obviously like in any other country you will be in trouble. the weather now is hot in the north part specially on the cost, is summer all year long. where I live is dry, now is the rainy time but just once in a awhile. it is cool now. we have a very typical country regional songs, lilke samba, Brazilian pop and rock music, bossa nova. forró, and some other kind that you should listen to. every region , state, speaks Portuguese, but has its own customs. regional cultural. is a country that has a rich cultural diverse. sometimes we say that we don´t speak portuguese, but brazilian. we are very different from Portugal people who speaks same language, but has a lot of differences. well, that is it so far. drop some line about you.

Hi
Algeria is a big country situated in the north of Africa it about 2.381.741 km2.It is devided into 48 provinces (we actually use the word "wilaya" instead of province). The north is famous with its nice beaches and the east with its beatiful nature ,forests and mountains. The west is well known with its huge number of buildings and of caurse in the south there is the famous Sahara with its hestorical places where you can find the drawings that go back to the ancient time. In the other cities there are many hestorical places built by the Romans and the Phoneciens.
Most Of th Algerian are Muslim but we can finde christians and Jewish more in the east ; our mother language is Arabic but in our daily life we use the slang in addition to french
Next time I will tell you more ok !
