I actually had a more positive view of Islam before I began reading about its doctrines and about the life of Mohammed and the things he did. I made sure I got some of the information from Islamic sources, and that information was part of what really convinced me that it's a religion of violence.

Is it a religion of violence, or a religion practiced by violent people? There are a lot of Muslim Kurds in Nashville and I see some from time to time. I've said "hello" and they've replied in kind. Maybe Islam contains both peaceful and violent aspects and while most adhere to the peaceful parts -- as most do in any religion, as most people aren't nutjob killers -- perhaps the terrorist sector of Islam have chosen to ignore the peaceful side of Islam. _________________ Billie Jean is not my lover.
