It is safe:

Their belts are brown.

I am confused at this:

Their belt is brown.

Does it mean they all are wearing the same kind of belt and that is why we are using singular?

Hi Kiki,

It is a good habit to capitalize the letters properly. It shows your respect to the language. :)

And I am still a learner and confused at "Their belt is brown." :)

Hi Kiki,

To communicate is my occupation...you could say. And I am here quite often :)

For meanings and examples on the phrasal verbs you are talking about, please
refer phrasal verbs with go.

go along: to cooperate
They get along by going along.

go down: to drop below the horizon; set
The sun went down.

go up: to be in the process of construction
Office buildings went up all over town.

Am not sure but I heard people using it this way -

They were going down when they saw all the people in the stairs.
They were going up when they saw all the people in the stairs.

Can anyone explain this use please?

Kiki, I am criticizing you again :)

"Thank you very much Gray.

I always make such mistakes because I type with ten fingers and very fast.

I didn't check the short message I just sent. Thanks for your corrections again as I really need someone to correct me. It was quite easy to know the mistakes as you highlighted them in bold. By the way, who are you? "

No, I am just like you - a student learning English. And I, too, make many mistakes.
But, I learn with them...I learn with mistakes :)

Hi Kiki,

We all are friends as long as we share what we have. And this is a great place to share and learn English, if you are curious enough to ask questions and help others to find answers :)
