When people succeed, it is because of hard work. Luck has nothing to do with success. Do you agree or disagree with the quotation above? Use specific reasons and examples to explain your position. This quotation is undeniable fact. I completely agree with this quotation. The success is the result of persistent hard work. The unexpected favorable event, which is called luck, may favor success but it is not enough by themselves for achieving success. Determined effort is required for achieving success.
Many celebrities have emphasized the importance of hard work. For example, Inventor Thomas Edison said that success was perspiration - persistent hard effort. Furthermore, President Calvin said that unrewarded brilliance was commonplace, it is the hard work which was mattered.
Sometimes, before achieving success one has to face many failures but it is the price of success. The famous people did not get the success in one day. They gained success after the long effort . For example, Charlie Chaplin theater performances remained obscure for many years before he became the international super star. The President Nelson Mandela ran the government office unsuccessfully before he became the president of United States.
In concise, success can not be achieved overnight. It is the outcome of great effort. So, hard work is essential for achieving success. Luck is merely matters.
