Hi everybody,

My name is Léo. I am 20 years old and I am from France. I am studying in communication such as media studies, organizational communication, advertising, multimedia creation and so on.

I am presently studying in a bilingual university in Canada. I joint this forum because I hope find there any help to improve my English, correct some of my mistakes and understand some grammatical points which are not really clear for me.

I just began the first lesson a few hours ago and I would like to notice you that the first listening called "Introduction" doesn't seem to work. I always get the following message "file not found". I also try with other listening files on the website and the problem seems to be the same. I hope that somebody could resolve this little inconvenient problem.

I think most French have problems with pronunciation. Most of them pronounce 'th' as 'z'. Am I right?

Happytofita you are right. I think that French have a lot of pronunciation problems such as "Th" (which is the most important one), "H", "ED" and "S" (end of words). To finish R and T sound also likely different pronounced by French people than by English native speakers but that is not a so big deal.
