Where are you going to go? vs Where are you going? #2 (permalink) Fri Jan 09, 2009 2:05 am   Where are you going to go? vs Where are you going?

.
Where are you going to go?
Where are you going?

I'm going to go to Bali.
I'm going to Bali.

All of these are fine. The two forms usually have the same meaning in context. The first form suggests a plan or decision for the future; the second form suggests inevitability.
