Hi Torsten,
I am in a very initial stage of preparation, so presently looking for a comprehensive guide. These days good content is available online and that too for free, that is the reason I asked.
I think free sat content on Learnhub should be useful.

| my instructor started his academic blog that includes sat/act prep, academic news, tips, techniques and strategies. He is exposing all his techniques slowly to the blog, so far he exposed the essay portion, the techniques works like magic, no kidding. I paid big bucks to get that, and now he is exposing it for free.. what the f you know.. Anyways, the blog address is academichacker.com. Check it out~ it won't hurt.. haha |

If you want good quality SAT practice tests with clear answers check out: www.practiceTheSat.com They also have scheduled tests every Saturday, which is great because they award a prize in a form of a gift check card to the person who earns the highest score. Oh and registration is free. |

| Free material is a good way to get your brain working, but please don't rely on it if you want great scores. Free content often has mistakes and leaves out important strategy tips. Here's a good source for free math problems: http://www.my-sat.com/FreepracticeQuestionsMath.html. And for vocab maybe try using an online vocab game like freerice.com. Eventually though, consider buying the material most relevant to your needs--your score is an essential investment. |
