1. the performance of my notebook has been beaten by every other computer when I compared it to them.

2. the performance of my notebook was beaten by every other computer that I compared to it.

3. the performance of my notebook was the worst among the compared laptops.

4. the performance of my notebook was the worst among the laptops compared.

5. the performance of my notebook was the worst among the laptops that were compared to it.


dear teachers,
please, is any of these fine? I'm especially interested in the 4th. I saw this format in serious sites on the web and wonder if it's really good and natural English, please. :)

2. the performance of my notebook was beaten by every other computer that I compared to it.- Better

3. the performance of my notebook was the worst among the compared laptops.-- OK

4. the performance of my notebook was the worst among the laptops compared.-- OK

5. the performance of my notebook was the worst among the laptops that were compared to it.- OK
