What are some important qualities of a good supervisor (boss)? Use specific details and examples to explain why these qualities are important.

In my opinion a good boss should have some important qualities. Those qualities are the following: to have an ability to listen to other people; to be kind and not to put differences between coworkers; to be able to influence on workers’ performance to become better.
As mentioned above the first important quality of a good boss is the ability to listen to other people particularly to the coworkers. The boss should listen to coworkers’ problems, which are related to their work, and solve them together, share new ideas and suggestions. Without these things the boss cannot be a good one.
Another important quality is to be kind and not to put differences between coworkers. If the supervisor is not kind then the workers will not like their boss and the environment where they work will not be good enough to work properly. In the same way, if the boss puts differences between coworkers then some of the workers will not trust to the boss. So there will be conflicts between workers, which will influence on workers’ performance negatively. As a result, to be kind and not to put differences between workers are very important qualities for a good boss.
The last important quality, which I have mentioned above, is the ability to influence on workers’ performance positively. There are cases when the boss does not have this ability, even he thinks that if he helps the worker to improve his performance then he will be removed from his position and that worker will be chosen as a boss. For example, my friend faced with such problem last year. Seeing, that his boss does not have that important quality, he changed his boss.
In conclusion, I want to say that a good boss should not think about his position and should be like a good friend with workers.
