Manage to I can explain, it means I am able to with some effort
happen to is hard to explain. I would say the best way is that it means for your information.

.
1. Happen to = It is by chance (in this situation) that
ex: I happen to speak 5 languages.= It is by chance that I speak 5 languages

2. Manage to = be able to with some effort; succeed minimally
ex: I manage to get there.= with some effort I just get there.
