As you know, I am getting engagement on june21 and I am going to need some time leave. I am asking for three days leave.

The second one is better, Sushiman-- it is appropriate for a business relationship:

I am writing to request a temporary leave of absence from June 20th through June 22nd. I am getting engaged on June 21st and feel that I am going to need 3 days' leave to plan and prepare for this major event in my life.
