Hi,
I don't understand this sentence. Please help me. Does it mean "he's so greedy to take 4 tickets quickly for entering the exhibition while there were only 5? How about "take a fast one.."?

There are many english idoms which I definitely cant understand literally ,such as" to pull a fast one".
Maybe lack of knowledge about culture and custom of english spoken country prevent me ,a chinese,from improving my english .
I am puzzled.
