How can I improve my TOEIC® score?

Hi Torsten and everyone,

At present, I am studying Ms in Korea, therefore I have to past the TOEIC test in next semester with the score 700. When I first came here, my score was 350, then it was 470. But now, I feel that my english score improves very slowly. When I heard TOEIC test in sections 1, 2, I also make some mistakes due to not clearing or some misunderstanding words. In sections 3 and 4, my thethod was scaning question first and listening or both listening and scaning or scaning question, answer after that listeningthe question which I have scaned. But, when the conversation finnished, I feel confusing and it became more difficult for me in next short talks. Besides, I need the help from you to complete my reading parts which I usually could not complete it (maybe 80%-85%) or make some mistakes in grammar or word meanings. Therefore , I need the support from you in TOEIC study methods as well as materials for study in order to improve my TOEIC score.

Hi,

You can become a member of onlineenglish.eu and there you can get an estimate of your English level corrolated to the TOEIC scale and you can prepare and learn for the TOEIC test as well as improve your business English... But the TOEIC test is only available as a written form given by official test centers.

Not really on topic, but I've done a some vocabulary tests and my average I'd like to know how good I have to be to succeed at a real TOEIC test? 75%? 80%? More? My average might be 85% abbreviation aside. Would it be enough?

Hi Karl,

It depends on what kind of TOEIC score you want to achieve. You can't fail the TOEIC test -- you will always be awarded a certificate no matter how good or bad your score is.

By the way, I suggest you also try our TOEIC based listening tests.
