Hi Trang!
I'm very glad to be a friend of you.
By the way, can you let me know you are working or studying?

Hi Torstern,

I fully agree with you learning should be fun. when want to learn some thing we should find it enjoyable and the lessons will be very interesting.
The more you find the lesson intersting the easier it will be for you to learn.

Am I wrong
Julieta

Hi Julieta...

It is understood that learning should be fun. That is why there are more playing methods in a KG school for young children than actual lessons. But one thing is there to keep in mind, in my opinion, that we should not learn it for fun. Got it...? We should have to be serious about learning.

Have a nice experience..

Hello to everyone on English-test.net,

I would like to say that I have enjoyed everyone's posts! This is Tom Kane writing from the United States. It's interesting to see where everyone is located throughout the world.

All of you are doing a great job! However...if you can...when you post your written message, try to also post a recorded message. I have been wondering... "What do I have to do to get these guys to post a recorded message?" Hmmm?

Maybe, I have to entice all of you to post a recorded message. We all like to have "fun" while we're learning English. So...since I like to have more fun than anyone in America, let's have fun! What I am saying is - I think I'm going to bribe you to post a message.

If I have to offer to sing, dance, and tell jokes to get you to post a recorded message - I'm willing to do it! HA! Alright...so the first one who replies to this message with a written AND "recorded" message - I'm going to sing! Well...maybe I'll tell a joke first...I don't want to scare you with my singing just yet.

So I'm going to leave my computer for a few minutes and go to the store. Let's see who responds by the time I return!

I'm waiting!
Tom Kane

Hello, Anjuvaidoo. I'd like to make it clear for you that Tom Kane spends his time on the forum not like a student, but he, actually, is the author of the idea about voice recording. Moreover he's an American and a voice over worker, you can read about it here About Tom Kane

And if you want to hear Tom's singing or him telling a joke you have to record your voice first, be more attentive reading this what to do

Now have a nice try and GOOD LUCK!

Hello Anjuvaidoo,

Thank you so much for responding to my message. Thank you also for your kind words regarding my voice. Anjuvaidoo, I think you are doing a great job with your English. You can speak my language MUCH better than I can speak your language. So please do not worry, you are doing very well.

The best way for you to improve your spoken skills is to speak English as much as possible. If you don't have a microphone available, it's okay. What you can do is, read "this" message out loud to yourself a few times. You can also go back in the forum and read aloud all the messages. As you continue to do that everyday, you will notice an improvement. I promise!

Now, as far as my singing...since I don't want to scare you, I'll just tell you a joke:

There was a salesman who was calling on all the houses in a neighborhood. As he came upon one house he saw a boy outside playing.

The salesman said to the little boy, "Is your mother home?"
"Yes, she's home," the boy said as he moved to let the salesman past.

The salesman rang the doorbell, but there was no answer. He rang it again, and nothing, so answer. Then he knocked on the door, and still no one answered.

The salesman turned to the little boy and said, "I thought you said your mother was home?"

The little boy said, "She is, but this isn't where I live!"

Hey Maryann,

Thanks for helping me out! I appreciate it a great deal. Listen, my jokes are bad...but my singing - well...is really bad!

Hello, dear Tom! I want to assure you that your jokes are really funny! :D
Especially about the menstual and motor cyrcle. And I don't mind jokes about blonds, though I'm a fair-haired woman. I think that each of us is silly in a way, right?

Regards,

Maryann
