Hi,
I agree with you. No one can speak English perfect in one overnight.
It can be developed only day by day practice.
I look forward to have someone to develop my language by doing practice every day.

Hello Tom, Torsten & everybody,
I'm Viet from Vietnam, now living in Paris. It's been a long time for me looking for a good English forum and now I've found this one. It is very useful for me because now I can practice English with others by exchanging posts, speaking and discussing everything that we can. Thank you english-test.net for your idea and for your enthusiasm helping us everyday. You guys deserve all compliment that we can make.
Regards, Viet |

While i agree with the first two, i disagree with the third one. i don't intend to say that being yourself is a detriment to learning. I only think that it isn't essential. But that is the learner's perspective.
What about the teacher's perspective? I am an Spoken English teacher from a small city in India, where as you know English is not the native language. For non-native speakers, especially if they are 20+ years old, the most important thing is to make english easy to understand and also make sure that they achieve success in the classroom on a regular basis. I have observed that students tend to get turned off if they dont understand or if they dont get enough success in the classroom.
Have a nice day. |
