Hi Merllan, I am very much happy to see this quotation posted by you. I really like it. We can teach ourselves by reading books and listening to radio & watching TV aside from other study materials. But, you must have someone else first to show the way. What do you say about this? Please don't mind.

Hi Sahid, Is that your hand? If so, why have you put it here? Just curious... don't think otherwise. What's the difference between practice and practise? Well, you may say that "practice" is a noun AND "practise" is a verb. Is it OK to use "practice" for both noun & verb?

Hi to all the classmates
The thing I can't denied is the fact that practice make perfect. But practice need the will because the way is were is the will. The lack of time is not an excuse not to be able to learn english.
As many persons told it we don't need to be in touch with english native speakers to improve. We have to pick up whatever learning is possible and fair like this site I like very much.
I don't plan my time for learning english, not also the way and the occasion. just for me when I can gain a little time is the practice time for me.
This was what I was trying to share on the willingness for learning english.
Regards

Hello Torsten,
I'm Hery, from Jambi, Indonesia. I'm also English teacher. Even though Indonesia has several famous tourism object, like Bali, Jakarta, Jogja, etc, but Jambi is not one of them. We rarely see foreigners here. So, if i can join your forum, or talk directly with you, that would be fantastic ! Looking forward for your reply

Hi,
in my opinion you have to practice the language.
I need English in my job and have a lot of contacts, nativespeekers and non nativespeekers.
When I'm back from holiday I always realise that I've again forgotten a lot, therefore I totaly agree with you, when you tell us, that if we want be successful we have to practice it.
Have a good day!

Dear friends,
All your remarks sound optimistic. In one of the letters the author tells us that a winner prefers listening to native speakers. So do I. The problem is that there are very few foreigners in our country. Furthermore, few of them are English or American. Communication via the Internet is not enough for me. |

| Hi! I find it very difficult to pronounce some words well, this was due to the area i was schooling. At times my pronounciation make people laugh at me, and each time it happens i feel embarrassed. Since i have been informed about voice recorder i hope that my pronounciation will be improved; but my problem with this programme is that i don't know how to do it. What should i do to learn it? I do not mind if you can put me through. Thanks from kenny4fans (Nigeria) |

Hi Tatyana,
I am David Biloko from DRCongo. I like English very much. Thank you for spending your time and devoting your life to teaching people on line. Teaching is a good job, I like it and I am a teacher as well. But I haven't got the opportunity to have students on the internet yet. Thank you very much. |
