Hello, this is Lucia, I dont use to read or write on the forum, but ,because Mr. Torsten has always suggested me on the emails sent it to me this is the best way to improve my english skills, I 've decided to try this way too. I was surprised to discover some bad habits in my english writing,so I hope I will change it soon. When I was little I was watching a lot of English and American moovies(I remember that my favorite serial was a English foileton(calling "Poldark"if i remember well) and I have learned English for some years in University;that many years ago. Since I have mooved to Japan I 've start learning just Japanese. Now ,after many years without practicing and listening English ,I need to re-learn,if I can say like this, because here I am teaching yoga and they are a lot of words and expression wich I can explain it only in english language. And because the Japanese peoples have a very different accent by the Europeans peoples on speaking english ,my friends often ask me talk to them in English. The Japanese peoples have a strong desires on learning English and although they are making some efforts on their prounonciation, they are very good on grammar rules(wich is my very weak point) or on details wich I even didnt noticed it. I am hopefully I will improve my English skills here. Thank you very much! Lucia |

hello english learners i think that the first thing a learner should consider is that whether they have a desire to learn. The will and the bent for learning any language are the key qualities required to master that language.Aquality learner should be patient .Do not expect to learn the language over a night. All the best wishes abdo |

Dear Torsten,
This is Cliff from China. It’s really nice to hear from you. You stated in the E-mail that you are looking forward to listen to my voice on the forum. I was surprised when I read this piece of information. To be honest, I read your E-mail every week. I was thinking that the E-mail you sent to me every week could be an essay or article you send to everybody. Nothing could be personal; I take it for granted as I did with other similar program. Your kind request let me realized that this program which initiated by you and your colleagues is totally diffident.
I hereby appreciate your support with my English leaning. Of cause, I present my first record as a reference for your kindly comments.
Thanks again!

| I have a student who thinks learning English is exactly like learning mathematics. He thinks there must be a very complicated rule for putting the elements of a sentence beside each other. For him grammar is a nightmare and whenever he faces a sentence with a new structure with which he's not familiar he loses his self confidence. Besides; he's not patient in learning at all. |

hello there. I think we can achive our goal if we made a petient and the importent thing is how we can achive our goals? that quastion is not easy to say that and that.... but if i try is to practic the skill that the learners gave as for example if we recording our voic and write lot of short essy that is first step to improve als we change our habit and to focouse the success . written is importan so we have to try our best to writte down ever is not correct like me , simpely i believe when i did errers or incorrect some one correct me then the next time i will be correct, but if am not writthing any think who can i know if am correct or not . please correct me and send me here the feedback. may thinks. |

Dear Leo,
It's great to hear your voice again. Where and how did you learn English and what is your native language? _________________ Test Of English for International Communication TOEIC Preparation & TOEIC Vocabulary |
