The jet stream ,definitely,which is an unuseual wind existing at a far distance to the surfce of earth.it 's pointed that the jet stream impacts weather by coinciding with storm. when the jet stream occured ,wind will move at a accelerated speed and involve in more than one locations .moreover,the jet stream will become stronger while the contrast in the temperature of the earrth and atmosphere became greater.
Normally,there are two types of jet stream in atmosphere,the subtropical jet stream moved around the continental United states,in contrast,the polar jet stream exsited in the area of Montana.obviously, the two types of the jet streams occured in vary way because of the difference of the temperature between various regions of th earth . In addition ,these jet streams can be observed that it would cause a raining wheather or a dry wheather in an area due to they moving into or leaving it.
The example is a good model to prove that the jet stream flowed in the atmosphere from one region to another.when the temperature of the air is apparently different to the surface of the earth,the speed of wind will be enhanced ,then the jet stream collaborated with storm to impact wheather of the area in a significant way. According to the example in lecture ,it can be known that air travels at normal speed to cover the surface of the earth,but it would be enforced when a jet stream joined it through a area,therefore,a heavy storm occured in this region,while another region nearby is uneffectically without impacted by the jet stream.
