Hi, everyone

Someone replyed my post and said: "That all this is far fetched, but Seagate has put many users in a far fetched situation." I can't understand him fully because I don't know exactly what does far feched and far feched situation mean.Is far-fetched an idiom? Could you please explain it for me?

at/in/on a forum(internet)? I also don't know which preposition I should use. Please also tell me if possible. Many thanks :wink: [/b]

Far-fetched (please note the spelling) is an adjective rather than an idiom which means 'hard to believe' or 'not very likely'.

We usually say 'on the Internet' or 'on an Internet forum'.
