Speaking, I think, is a great work of confidence. In vietnam, many people have learnt English since they're 10 but until now, not many of them can speak English well. So what's the reason for it? As a typical instance, I've learnt English for about six years. You know, it's a long time. But what can I do now? Nothing!! I hadn't realized it until my uncle told me to talk with his son. His name is DE. He is a Canadian. After talking to him, I felt very disappointed. Just because I haven't done well and maybe, I have wasted too much time for nothing. Until now, I am still on my way to find a good instruction for learning it well, not too bad like I am now!! So what should I do to achieve my goal ? Please help me out!!
I'm going to have a very important test about grammar, too. But I don't know how to deal with the knowledge which is very new to me!!Please help!!!

Hello everyone,

There are millions of people around the world who want to improve their English speaking skills. However, only a few of them know how to achieve that goal.

Speaking English requires a lot of practice and constant work. It's similar to doing a sport: Only if you practise it on a regular basis, can you get good at it. That's why we'd like to invite you to record online voice messages together with us here on the forum. Read this text out loud and record your own voice.

Post your recording on the forum so you can get feedback on your pronunciation, intonation and accent. We can even hold contests to nominate the best speaker or to guess the nationality of the reader.

When you are reading and recording this text, you have already overcome the fear of speaking English, which so many of us experience. Isn't that a great feeling? It's the start of your new life as an English speaker!

I'm agree with amr posting. With this system you have the oportunnity to record the voice but who will give us feedback about the pronunciation or syntax?. I'm waiting for a program where I can speak with other on line and both of us can receive corrections.

Bye.

Hey Everyone,

I understand some of the issues that we have as far as not getting immeidate feedback on our voice recordings. However, if you do a "google" search or whatever search engine you prefer, you will not find any program that offers the same capability as the one on this site. I think it's a good program where you can speak and anyone, anywhere in the world can provide feedback. Continue posting your voice recording and everyone will provide feedback. It may not be in a timely manner as you would like, but someone will provide one eventually. Have fun learning and remember, "practice makes perfect." Take care and be safe
