But you haven't changed a thing yet.

Remember what Torsten said about basic rules?

We speak of ourselves as 'I' not 'i'.

We start every sentence with a CAPITAL letter.

We leave a space after every comma and full stop.

Hello Torsten,

My name is Ron Turner. I have searched hundred's of language websites, and information and willingness to help the members is the best that I have seen! That being said, I wanted to ask your opinion on a few questions I have:

1) I am wanting to get certified as an English Teacher, and teach the language in Germany (preferably Business English, but any area would do depending on the job availability). There are SO many courses out there, which do you think would best prepare me as a teacher and for jobs? TEFL? CELTA? TESOL? I am a native English speaker, and currently have a bachelors degree from the United States (where I live).

2) Depending on what you would suggest, would it make sense to try to take the course THERE in Germany, and look for work afterward?

I have taught instruction in athletics for 23 years (so I have experience in a teaching environment) but would really like to pursue teaching English. I have visited a number of cities in Germany, so it wouldn't matter where I received my certificate or taught!

Your advise would be greatly appreciated! Thanks for your time,

Regards,

Ron Turner

Good morning Ron. I think you will find lots of good advice about your situation if you were to check-out the www.ToytownGermany.com . site. The site for English pat's in Germany.

Loads of teachers seeking, and being offered work there. Good luck.

Kitos.

Hi Torsten!

Thank you very much for creating this site. I find it very interesting place to everyone to make friends. My name' Hoa, I'm from Vietnam. I didn't know how to use this forum until today when I entered this page.

I'm from Vietnam and am working for a Pharmaceutical Company. I really need English. It's not only useful for my current work but also for my future ambition.

I have studied Pharmacy in Cuba for six years. It also means I have not practiced English for 6 years. Although I studied E quite much before going to Cuba, now I almost forget it. I have a lot of difficulties in writing, listening and speaking.

I have just returned to Vietnam for 6 months and restudying E. My E now is a bit better than when I came home. However, it's not enough.

Therefore, I wish I can learn more through this website.

Hope to receiving messages from all of you.

Best regards,
Thanhhoa
