The comparative of the adjective fast is faster. (fast, faster, fastest) "More faster" does not exist.
The comparative of the adjective expensive is more expensive. (expensive, more expensive, most expensive)

Thank you dear Torsten..
For example if you say B is 60 percent faster than A, then B is not as fast as A. Because B is not 100 percent as fast as A. This will mean that B is less faster A. Am I right..?
So in my opinion that sentence should be.." The fastest Pentium 4 might be 160 percent faster than the fastest Celeron. .." ..because we want to mean that Pentium 4 is 60 percent more efficient than Celeron..
Please let me know if I am understanding this fully..
Thanks.. .. _________________ Sahid59

If the Pentium is 60% faster than the Celeron, the Pentium has 160% of the Celeron speed.
This means the Celeron is slower than the Pentium.
