As a noun 'object' means 'the goal intended to be attained' or 'the focus of cognitions or feelings'.
The second meaning fits here as we don't want to focus on money. _________________ First lesson - English, not english. I, not i. ~A student of English |

. 'Money is no object' is a fixed phrase meaning that the speaker doesn't care how expensive the item/service/etc is. . _________________ Native English teacher at Mister Micawber's |
