The best way to improve listening to me is watch TV. Or find a TV show you like and download some episodes. You get used to how each actor talks and it improves your listening skills alot and it's also really fun.

Hi Karl,

I totally agree with you -- constant exposure to authentic spoken English is absolutely crucial to learning English. That's why we started the 30/30 Challenge.

What do you think of it?

Yeah, that sounds good. Well you can only improve when you listen to the radio or watch TV, so doing it as often as possible is always good.

If you watch a TV show that you like you'll push yourself even more to understand what they say and at that point it should pretty easy to improve your listening skills.

That's right, Karl. However, one of the challenges many our forum users are facing is that they don't have access to English language TV or radio. That's why we need to show them how they can use the Internet to listen to English media.
