Hi,

'Feint' suggests not clear in the sense of difficult to read. You can have exercise books with lines on each page. Sometimes the lines are printed 'bold', which means they stand out and are clear and sometimes they are very pale and you can hardly see them. These pale lines would be described as 'feint'.
