Hi,

I would pronounce it as you said it second but it is becoming more and more popular in the UK to use the American way as 'sk'.

For last few years I am pronouncing it as 'sheydyool' but now as the people around me pronounce it as 'skeydyool', I like it too.

To voice my concern - few (not all) voice recordings by Torsten don't play well (too fast that it creates noise), may be because of some technical issue. I have observed this for last few hours only but everything was fine yesterday.

Hi All,

Until now, I was facing some issues while playing the audio recordings on the forums. I use the Mozilla Firefox browser. I just updated the Flash Player plugin to the latest version. Whew! That solved the problem :)

Hope it would be helpful to you - Get Flash Player.

Hi,

My pronunciation is as follows 'sh'. But then just to be awkward I pronounce this word (scheme) as 'sk'. Funny world, isn't it?
