usage of "more" #1 (permalink) Tue Feb 03, 2009 8:13 am   usage of "more"

Hi,

I have a question on the usage of "more". See the follow conversation:

Mom: Wake up, or you will be late for school!
Daughter: Ten more minutes, Mom.

Let's take a look at the daughter's line. How about "Ten minutes more" or "More ten minutes", instead of "Ten more minutes"? If they're not right, why is that?

Thanks,
sweetpumpkin
