Hello everybody,

"Namashkar!" means "hi or hello" in my language. Anyways, I am from India. In India, there are many languages, as each state has its own language. But our National language is Hindi. So in Hindi...if I want to say 'thank you' I would say : "Dhanyavaad" or sometimes " Dhanyabaad". Next to that, 'thank you very much' : if the person is a male then he will say " Dhanyavaad! Main aapka bahot aabhari hun!" and if the person is a female then she will say " Dhanyavaad! Main aapaki bahot aabhari hun!"

Furthermore, My mother-tongue is Marathi, as I am from Maharashtra, a state in India. In Marathi:
Thank you: same as in Hindi i.e. "Dhanyavaad".
Thank you very much: he will say: "Dhanyavaad! Mi aapala khup aabhari aahe!"
She will say: "Dhanyavaad! Mi aapali khup aabhari aahe!"

Lastly, 'Dhanyavaad' to this forum as this forum gives opportunity to share something from everybody's origin.
