The mood which led me to start this topic likely has as its source the fact that I didn't
gorge myself at dinner... so I'm drooling (figuratively) right now. While I ought to get to sleep to bring myself more quickly to brunch or lunch (no way I'm waking up before 11am), I am in the mood to talk... about... FOOD, glorious FOOD!

So here are some of the things I like to eat. Please use this as your place to recommend dishes, share feats of gluttony, proffer your best recipes, etc.

Pizza (all kinds -- Italian, New York, and especially Chicago-style deepdish, with the sauce on top)
Lasagna
Chicken Parmesan -- I have a good recipe if anyone's interested
... and other pasta-based Italian entrees.

Chicken Massala (LOVE it!) over Basmati rice, with naan
Tacos/burritos/enchiladas and other Tex-Mex
Cheeseburgers
Meat loaf
Fried Chicken
Chicken sandwich (especially with buffalo wing sauce and ranch or blue cheese dressing)
Rib-eye steak, medium-rare
Ham
Pot Roast
Pork tenderloin
Salad -- covered with cheddar, cucumbers, croutons, thick blue cheese dressing)

GARLIC!

(hehe)

Okay, that's enough for now.

If you want recipes for anything, don't ask me -- go to the Food Network website. hehe

Just kidding -- I've made, or seen someone else make, all of the things I've listed, so go ahead and preguntarme.

I've managed to remain at about 180 pounds since my freshman year of college. Though I'm not quite the pig I was then, I still enjoy stuffing my face.

Exercise these days mostly involves walking the dog three times per day and all the walking I do at the office.

So I guess the ol' metabolism is still doing its job. hehe

I've decided to minimize the amount of fast food in my diet, which should help in cutting calories, fat and cholesterol. I still probably eat way too much beef, but at least now it's decent beef, not the stuff found at places like McDonald's, Burger King and Taco Bell. And I can remove much of the grease when I cook the beef myself.
