I was wondering, if any of this forum members play some musical instruments :) As far as I'm concerned, I play both piano and guitar- i'm not going to boast about my abilities or sth, but it's said that musicians can learn language faster and more effective and I suppose it funcions the other way round. To prove it, I have 4 musicians /20 in my student group :) So, I'm just curious what about you, people? :-)

No, I do not play musical instruments, I just play with words  You said that musicians are good at language too. So, what is common in music and language?

I can strum some chords on the guitar... just well enough to accompany myself.

To our forum musicians, play these chords:

E F# B
E F# B A
E B
E B F#

B F# A E
E B C#m E
B F# F#m E
E B
E F# B

(instrumental)
B F# A E
E B C#m F# A

E B
E B F#

B F# A E
E B C#m E
B F# F#m E
E B
E F# B A
E B F#
E G B

The G major chord makes the song... you don't see it coming and then BAM there it is.

I think this is the matter of the left/right hemisphere of our brain. I'm not quite sure about the details, but u can make some research if you want. For me it is easier to distinguish, for instance, the defferences between the phonetic sounds in English because I can distinguish various sound from a song and then play it.
Prezbucky, wow, you are from Nashville? This is one of my dreams to go to Nashville. A lot of great musicians perform there. Btw, what's the aim of this squence of chords?
