Kathleen,
Yes, we are here to teach and learn :) Well, you made me revisit the definition of 'essay'. It does mean 'analytic and interpretive literary composition'. So, if we go by the definition, to write an essay - we should learn to analyse and interpret.
By literary we mean 'being formal'. And 'composition' is 'something that is created by arranging several things to form a unified whole'. _________________ First lesson - English, not english. I, not i. ~A student of English |

Hi everyone, I have been a member of this Site for the last four months and I have improved a lot from this Forum, and there's no reason to doubt about why you can't. This is the BEST Site for not only you, but for the learners of English and the teachers. I guarantee you that you will learn more in less time. Besides English, if you have any question or confusion about anything, just post them here, and in real time your problems will be resolved by anyone of the friendly and helpful members or moderators/ instructors of this forum. They (we) are always here to help you round the clock (24/7).
