Hi I'm Kathleen. I think this thing your doing is great you can help a lot of people from anywhere in the world who wants to learn English. I myself need to learn more. English is our second language in our country (Philippines) but I’m poor when it comes to writing Sad so I wanted to expand my vocabulary and learn more techniques on how to write an essay. And I believe through this and with your help I can improve. Very Happy

Kathleen,

Yes, we are here to teach and learn Smile Well, you made me revisit the definition of 'essay'. It does mean 'analytic and interpretive literary composition'. So, if we go by the definition, to write an essay - we should learn to analyse and interpret.

By literary we mean 'being formal'. And 'composition' is 'something that is created by arranging several things to form a unified whole'.
