I have that problem now, and I say now because, at times, I forget a very easy topic about English. I don't usually pay attention to what people say or the way they speak, because it's very difficult to find a person who speaks proper English.

I have heard:

"I, on the other hand..."
"ME on the other hand"
"ME and my friends ..." / "My friends and I ..."(I guess these are correct)
"You and I" / "You and ME"

Do I have to use "I" when a verb is next to the noun? and, Do I have to use "ME" when it is not a verb?

Thanks in advance.

Hey,

this is simple. I is a personal pronoun and Me is an object pronoun. So, I works as the subject whereas Me as the object. The subject comes before the verb and the object after it.

Its common people say You and me...this is OK but, the correct is you and I.
